Hello!

Welcome to my website!

In case you don't know me, my name is Santiago Moreno. I’m a junior at the University of Texas at Austin.

At UT, I am Co-President for the local chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (Texas ACM) and a proud founding member of the Waitlisters hackathon team.

I love science and technology but my passion is Computer Science. When I'm not buried in code or at a hackathon with the Waitlisters, I enjoy cybersecurity CTFs, reading and learning about the latest tech, photography, graphic design, and travelling. I am spending the summer in Washington at Microsoft and am so excited to meet new people, explore the area, and see new landscapes.

Before I came to Austin for school, I lived in Houston for 10 years and before that, somewhere much, much colder. Regardless of where I've lived, technology has been an integral part of my life. It has been fascinating to grow up with technology evolving around me: personal computing jumping off the lap and desk adopting new form factors from smartphones and wearables to our transportation means. In my eyes, technology is key to transforming people's everyday lives and empowering them to do more.
